Special remarks:

The Majors is not your typical Florida golf course! Instead of flat boring terrain with houses lining every fairway the Majors offers a spectacular Arnold Palmer signature course on 240 natural and spacious acres. If you can judge a golf course by the number of great holes you can recall at the end of your round The Major's will not disappoint! You'll find undulating greens, varied elevations, lush natural vegetation populated with Florida wildlife and a layout that will challenge every shot in your bag and leave you wanting more!

Built in 1999, The Majors Golf Club was developed to honor the great championships of golf in a way that celebrates the history and tradition of the game while offering a golfer-friendly atmosphere. Players will notice that many of the best features found on the traditional courses of Ross and Mackenzie have been blended with more modern features like Island greens to create a truly memorable golfing experience.

We believe that much of golf's fun is taking out your driver and "letting go." Thus, the landing areas off the tee are generous. After the drive, the player will be faced with demanding strategic approach shots that puts as much emphasis on the mental aspect of the game as it does on making your swing. It's a "thinking man's" golf course that cannot be won over on strength alone.

The greens covered in Tifeagle grass are among the finest you will find in Florida and are relatively small and strategically situated. This allows the player to decide whether to go at the pin and risk landing in a hazard or play it safe and leave himself a challenging chip or pitch shot.
