TPC Tampa Bay  

Special remarks: 

TPC Tampa Bay is an 18 hole, par 71, stadium-style course that was designed by Bobby Weed with Chi Chi Rodriguez as the PGA TOUR player consultant. TPC Tampa Bay was created to not only challenge the top golfers of the world, but to also provide a challenging and fun experience for players of all abilities. The course gives the players the opportunity to play well within their game, with a variety of teeing areas that allow the course to be played from 4990 yards from the forward tees to 6698 from TPC championship tees.

Since being built in 1991, TPC Tampa Bay has earned numerous accolades, including: 

• Host of the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am 

• 4 1/2 star rating in Golf Digest’s Places to Play

• It has annually been voted the top golf course in the Tampa Tribune’s Readers Choice Awards

• named the top golf property in West Central Florida and one of the top five in the State by the readers of Florida Golf Magazine                                                                                                                      The course is routed around natural wetlands, cypress heads and numerous ponds and lagoons, which are home to an abundance of wildlife. Deer, foxes, otters, armadillos, alligators, egrets, storks, cranes, blue heron and eagles all inhabit the golf course. This natural setting and wildlife variety is the reason why TPC Tampa Bay is one of the only two courses in the Tampa Bay area to be designated as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
  
  TPC Tampa Bay boasts a first class practice property with laser measured target greens, bunker and short game areas and an 8,000 square foot practice green. The clubhouse features the TPC Grille serving a breakfast and lunch menu daily and offering full bar service. In addition to TPC Grille and Golf Shop, the clubhouse has full men’s and women’s locker room facilities with lockers available for daily or annual rental.

Tampa International Airport:
Exit TIA and follow signs to 589 North. Follow directions above from 589 N (Veterans Expressway).

From 60 East (Courtney Campbell Causeway):
Take 60 East (Courtney Campbell Causeway) to 589 North. Follow directions above from 589 N (Veterans Expressway).

Downtown Tampa/Ashley St./Harbour Island:
Take Ashley St. to I-275 South. Continue south on I-275 to Exit 20 (60 West). Take 60 West to 589 North. Follow directions above from 589 N (Veterans Expressway).

OR

Take Ashley St. to I-275 North:
Continue north on I-275 to the exit for Bearss Avenue. Once you exit, turn left onto Bearss Ave. Proceed on Bearss to Dale Mabry Highway. Make a right onto Dale Mabry (597 North). Proceed approx. 5 miles and make a left (West) onto Lutz Lake Fern Rd. Proceed approximately 4 miles and you will see the TPC of Tampa Bay entrance on the left (just past the entrance to Villa Rosa).

South Tampa/60W:
Proceed on 60 West to 589 North. Follow directions above from 589 N (Veterans Expressway).

Busch Gardens Area:
Take I-275 North to the exit for Bearss Avenue. Once you exit, turn left onto Bearss Ave. Proceed on Bearss to Dale Mabry Highway. Make a right onto Dale Mabry (597 North). Proceed approx. 5 miles and make a left (West) onto Lutz Lake Fern Rd. Proceed approximately 4 miles and you will see the TPC of Tampa Bay entrance on the left (just past the entrance to Villa Rosa).

St. Petersburg, Bradenton, Sarasota & Points South:
Take I-275 North to Exit 20B (Airport & 589 North). Follow directions above from 589 N (Veterans Expressway).

From the North:
Take Interstate 75 South to Route 56 (Exit 275). Take Route 56 West approximately 5 miles to Route 41. Turn left (South) on Route 41 and immediately get into the right lane. Bear right at the fork onto Dale Mabry Highway (Route 597). Go 2.5 miles on Route 597 to the second traffic light at Lutz Lake Fern Road. Turn right onto Lutz Lake Fern Road and the Tournament Players Club of Tampa Bay will be approximately 3 miles on the left hand side.
