Special remarks:  

The course  incorporates rolling hills with up to 60-foot elevation changes as it winds through natural oak hammocks, pine forests, scenic wetlands and glistening freshwater lakes. A heroic 7,295-yard from the tips Panther Lake also offers the more manageable options of 6816, 6298 and 5094 yards allowing players of all levels to enjoy as much or as little course as they wish. While the phrase you will use every club in your bag is often over used, at Panther Lake you can be sure that you will need all 14 clubs! While the front nine will test your skill as the course weaves through natural Florida wetlands putting a premium on accuracy, the back offers a different challenge. There you will find very un-Florida like changes of elevation, and pine tree lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas.

Crooked Cat offers a strong compliment to its sister course, Panther Lake. Crooked Cat has its own unique characteristics giving the player the choice of playing two very different courses in the same day. Designed with a distinct 'links' flavor, its open and flowing design features few trees, wide terraced fairways and native heather grass in the rough. This design gives the player an experience reminiscent of that found about 3000 miles to the east in the Scottish Highlands.

With large sloping greens, steep grass and sand bunkers, lots of native vegetation and 50-foot elevation changes, Crooked Cat offers a true test to golfers of all skill levels. A fearsome 7,277-yards from the back tees, the course also can be played at 6748, 6035, 5236 yards, allowing you to choose how much of the 'Cat' you want to tame!

Crooked cat has also been awarded 4 1/2 Stars by Golf Digest's' BEST PLACES TO PLAY' and listed among the Top 50 courses in North America for Conditioning, Pace of Play and Overall Value.

From Orlando International Airport and Points East On Beeline Expressway:

• Take SR 528 (Beeline Expressway) West to Interstate 4
• Go West on I-4 to exit 68 (Lake Buena Vista / SR 535)
• Go North (right) on Apopka Vineland Road (SR 535) .25 miles North to CR 535.
• Go West (Left) on CR 535 North, 6.4 miles to Reams Rd.
• Go South (left) on Reams Rd, 3.9 miles to Lake Hancock Rd.
• Go West (left) 200 yards on Lake Hancock Rd to Porter Rd on right.
• Go North (right) on Porter Rd, .7 miles to Phil Ritson Way.
• Go South (left) on Phil Ritson Way, 1.5 miles to Orange County National

From International Drive and Sea World Area:

• Take Sand Lake Road West .5 miles to Turkey Lake Road and turn left.
• Go 2 miles on Turkey Lake Rd to Palm Parkway and proceed straight 2.7 miles to intersection of SR 535 / Apopka Vineland Rd.
• Proceed straight on CR 535 (Winter Garden / Vineland Road) 6.4 Miles to Reams Rd.
• Go left on Reams Rd, 3.9 miles to Lake Hancock and turn left.
• Take your first right on Porter Rd .7 miles to Phil Ritson Way and stay left.
• Go west on Phil Ritson Way 1.5 miles to Orange County National on your right.

From Universal Studios Area:

• From Kirkman and Vineland Road, Take Vineland Rd 1 mile to Turkey Lake Rd and turn left.
• Go 4.8 miles on Turkey Lake Rd to Palm Parkway and proceed straight 2.7 miles to intersection of SR 535 / Apopka Vineland Rd.
• Proceed straight on CR 535 (Winter Garden / Vineland Road) 6.4 Miles to Reams Rd.
• Go left on Reams Rd, 3.9 miles to Lake Hancock and turn left.
• Take your first right on Porter Rd .7 miles to Phil Ritson Way and stay left.
• Go west on Phil Ritson Way 1.5 miles to Orange County National on your right.
