Florida for the coming winter season, plan ahead and make
your golf vacation a little less stressful.
Why so
early?

Each year Florida's golf courses get
bombarded with golfers from everywhere that has a
colder climate and this year will not be any
different.
-
Tee-times will be at a premium because
more golfers are getting their tee-times well in
advance (3-4 weeks for US residents and 1-2 months for
our overseas visitors).

Golf courses are working very hard in
an effort to sell every available tee-time in
advance.
-
At most of Florida's golf courses
tee-times for the general public are accepted
(with only a few exceptions) up to 1 week
in advance and in some cases only 3-5 days in advance.
What does that mean to
you?

It means that when you arrive in
Florida for your vacation, long weekend or business
trip that includes golf you may have to settle for a
tee-time that doesn't fit your schedule. That's
assuming you can get one at all.

Every golfer has called their favorite
golf course to book a tee-time 1 week in advance for a
weekend morning tee-time only to be told, that you
need to call back on Wednesday. When calling on
Wednesday morning you're told that the only tee-times
available are after 2pm! Then it's time to scramble,
but there really isn't anything available anywhere
nearby. Talk about stress!
